• Velasquez Family Coffee - Coffee distributed by Guillermo & Cathy Velasquez: Fair trade coffee, superior roasting & flavors, competitive prices. Supporting the Velasquez family in Honduras. This family enterprise has gained recognition by the Land Stewardship Project. Simone’s favorite: Maximo’s French Roast. Simone will regroup orders for bulk shipping, if you are interested.

• Slow Food - an international movement whose aim is the protection of the right to taste.

• Slow Food Iowa - the local Slow Food convivium.

• Wallace Farms - Nick Wallace from Vinton, Iowa, sells organic grass-fed beef. He also distributes Wild Alaska Salmon from a small Alaskan family-own operation with long Iowa ties and an assortment of wild caught fish.  He now has a monthly distribution of products in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids.
